History

The Elounda Gulf Villas & Suites is a newly built, privately owned and family run luxury Resort. It opened in May 2000.

Elounda Gulf Villas and Suites is located on the north eastern coast of the island of Crete, in southern Greece, just 2,5 km away from the Village of Elounda and leisurely 50 minutes drive from the Heraklion International Airport. The town of Ag. Nikolaos with an abundance of restaurants and shops is 7km away.

Elounda Gulf Villas & Suites is a collection of 14 luxury Villas and only 10 elegant Suites located on the hillside overlooking the Gulf Mirabello in Elounda of Crete. All Villas have beautiful panoramic sea views with their own private swimming pool with Jacuzzi. All Suite are close to the main large swimming pool with Jacuzzi and jet for swimming against the stream. There ia also a children's paddling pool adjoining the main pool

The exquisite decorated a la carte Argo Restaurant offers both lunch and dinner. During daytime, light but sophisticated meals are served in cool atmosphere. In the evenings the candle lit setting provides the perfect location for indulging in the style of elegant dining! The experienced chef d’ hotel masterfully prepares Gourmet Cuisine. International and Mediterranean dishes are offered using the finest ingredients as well as high quality local products. For keeping the little guests happy, Argo Restaurant provides also a Children Menu!

Guests can experience a full menu of the unique Greek Cuisine during the “Greek Meze” evenings while grand Gala Dinners are planned several times throughout the Season.
