The Petra Mare Beach Hotel is situated at the most southest place of Crete, next to the small Town of Ierapetra ( 800 meters from the Center of the Town and the promenade with a big variety of Restaurants and Cafes ) on the Libyan Sea, known from the mild climate.

In the Town of Ierapetra live 15.000 inhabitants, build on the ancient Town of Ierapytna. It is located 100 km from Heraklion and 36 km from Agios Nikolaos. One Venetsian castle and a Turkish mosque are the reminds of Crete history change. At about 20 km from Ierapetra there is the ancient place of Gournia. At the small size Island " CHRISI " with the breath taking Beaches one day cruises are daily organized. From the Hotel also 15 minutes walk, is the Center of the Town.

The Hotel consists of 4 Floors with 227 spacious Rooms ( Singles, Doubles & Family Rooms ) and 3 Lifts.

The Rooms are for 4 persons and they have Telephone, TV with Satellite Channels, Refrigerator, Hairdryer, separate Air Conditioning for the Sea View Rooms and Central for the rest, Bathroom and Balcony. 60% of the Rooms are with Sea View.

The Family rooms are for 5 persons, they have Sea View and all the above mentioned facilities and they offer larger space with a decorative wall ( no door ).

In the Hotel facilities you can find a Satellite TV at the Living Room or you can enjoy your drink at the Terrace of the Bar watching the sun going down behind the Town of Ierapetra.

You can choose between Bed & Breakfast or Half board, on the Seaside Restaurant, which includes a variety of Buffet Service for Dinner and Breakfast.

On the Ground Floor you will also find the Reception Area, the Bar, the Restaurant with Terrace, the TV Room, the Card-playing Room, the Jewellery Store and the Mini Market.

On the Hotel grounds you will also find a Swimming Pool ( also for children ), a Snack Bar-Tavern, a " Theme Park " for children with a River with Waterfalls, 2 Jacuzzis, a Swimming Pool with Slides, an Amphitheater and a Playground. There is an Entrance Cost at the Water Park ( except children and parents).

The Pool Bar is, for the All Inclusive Children Service, daily open from 10:00 to 21:00. There is also a Children's Club with Animation for children up 4 years old.

The Entertainment Program includes an Animation Program and weekly a Folklore Evening and a Dance Bar or in the Town of Ierapetra the Restaurants, Bars, Taverns and Cafes.

In the Basement are Toilets, Charge Rooms, Hairdressing Salon, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Gym, Heated Indoor Swimming Pool and a Conference Room.

On the Beach there are also offered a number of Water Sport Activities.
On the Beach and at the Pool are Sun-beds and Umbrellas for rent.
